The Property Enhancement Loan Program is touted as the most successful method for Main Street Revitalization in small towns. The grant matches dollar-for-dollar up to $6,500 for external improvements of Pollocksville businesses. This is an economic incentive provided by the NC Legislature through the NC Department of Commerce to encourage economic recover from Hurricane Florence. The application has been revamped to remove barriers and encourage participation because funds must be expended before December 31st, 2021. The application is open and available to any commercial property owners on or adjacent to Main Street.
