The Pollocksville Waterfront Park is grassy knoll that offers rest alongside Highway 17 and a gorgeous access to the Trent River. Park amenities include a covered picnic shelter, a fishing dock and a NC Wildlife Boat Ramp. Among locals it is a favorite spot to bring lunch catch a few fish.
The Trent River headwaters are in the middle of Jones County, and flow northeast into the Neuse River 12 miles in a scenic meander. The river is popular among anglers and paddlers, and is well suited for all nature enthusiasts. The Pollocksville Wildlife Boat Ramp offers two floating docks on either side of a sloping concrete ramp.
