Pollocksville Volunteer Fire Department
Pollocksville Volunteer Fire Department serves and protects the community and surrounding areas of the Town of Pollocksville in North Carolina through fire suppression, rescue services and fire prevention. The PVFD is the main host for one of the biggest fund raisers in the county: The Big Game Hunt. Once a year the fire department members and friends put on a two-day competitive deer hunt, with a concert and barbecue.
