The Pollocksville Community Building is not affiliated with the Town of Pollocksville but the Town encourages community through the use of this shared space.
Historically, the Community Building has been the Town Hall, a dance hall, Boy Scout troop den, a hearth for family reunions, and even a private school in the 1960s when it was leased as Jones Academy, which is why it has two front doors. The Town Hall located its offices there in the late '80's, which then moved to the Train Depot in 2003.
The structure has two double-occupant restrooms, and a fully functional kitchen, and a fireplace. The building is open and available for rent for a deposit of $100, which will be repaid in full if it is entirely clean following the event!
