After a month of waiting suspended on steel girders and wooden blocks, the Town Hall has been lowered onto a new permanent home. So clearly, the old 20th century timbers rest safely above the floodplains atop a new concrete foundation. 

March 4th, 2021

February was a month of rain, causing 24 days of delay. On the morning of March 4th, the Town Hall rolled from the riverside, down Main Street, to its new home at 314 Main Street, where it will overlook the highway and Pollocksville Presbyterian Church. The Town Hall successfully retreated from the threat of flooding.
